How quickly will I get a reply?
Normally under 24 hours on a working day. The first reply is usually a scope question or two rather than a price, because a number given before those answers would be guesswork.
What should I send in the first message?
One or two lines: what the app should do and who would use it. If you already have wireframes, a spec, or an existing codebase, say so — that changes which stage we would start at.
